Vivienne is a writer and journalist who has worked globally and published in major magazines and newspapers in Australia and internationally.
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Vivienne started her career at The West Australian Newspaper, before moving to Sydney and then Canberra to cover federal politics and economics for Reuters and Bloomberg.
Following this she moved to Latin America, where she worked as a freelance journalist.
She has worked in many different mediums, including large circulation newspapers, online news, print magazines, and documentaries. She has also published photographs in magazines, including National Geographic Traveler.
She is a storyteller with an eye for the human angle, and a passion for connection and drawing out people’s stories.
Vivienne also writes fiction, and since returning to Australia has published short fiction in literary magazine HEAT and completed a Doctorate in Creative Writing, for which she wrote a novel.
She now lives in Sydney with her family.
